September 13, 2016 Lancaster, PA: The Signature Senior Living Teams from Lititz and Lancaster share a picture with the Lancaster Barnstormers’ mascot, Cylo, as they hosted our residents attending the baseball game at Clipper Stadium.
The Lititz and Lancaster vans have arrived! We provide transportation in our 12 passenger vans for our residents for physician appointments, shopping and events.

Lititz Record: Lori Prevost, Executive Director (L) and Coleen Frazier, Memory Care Director (R), at Signature Senior Living in Lititz volunteer to deliver meals to 15-20 seniors the last Thursday of every month for the Lititz Meals on Wheels. “It is so rewarding to help the community in such a small way that is really important! It makes us feel that we are giving back to the residents and seniors in the area and supporting a wonderful organization”, says Lori Prevost. “I would encourage other businesses in the local area to donate 2-3 hours per month and volunteer for Lititz Meals on Wheels”.
June 22, 2016: Lancaster, PA. The Signature Senior Living Lititz and Lancaster Personal and Memory Care communities’ teams held their first Founders’ luncheon at the Cork and Cap restaurant in downtown Lancaster. Our Founders’ include our depositors and interested parties to learn more about our new communities. During our luncheons, we will have special guests to discuss VA benefits, long term insurance and financial programs, along with more details of our well-being services and construction updates. Our Founders’ are the heart of our community, who provide their ideas on activities, menus and the services that they want in their home.

Coleen Frazier, Memory Care Director, and Lori Prevost, Executive Director, of Signature Senior Living Lititz Personal and Memory Care community attended the Lancaster Christian Woman’s Club that meets at Bent Creek Country Club on the first Wednesday of each month. This organization’s purpose is to network and be a support system for the community of Lancaster County, and they do volunteer projects to include special projects for our veterans. This local women’s club is associated with the national organization called Stone Croft International Ministries, a non-denominational, non-profit leadership group.
April 12, 2016-Signature Senior Living Lancaster Personal and Memory Care held their Topping Off Ceremony with Wohlsen Construction of Lancaster at their location at 31 Millersville Rd and the previous site of the original Hambright Elementary school. The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and citizens welcomed the Signature Senior Living owners, Steven Vick and Pete Russell, and the SSL Lancaster team of Krista Funk, Executive Director, Jennifer Hoover, Community Sales Director, and Tracy Moorehead, the Regional Director of Operations.
Today it’s customary for the last beam to be painted white and signed by all the people involved in the building. It’s raised and set and the building is built with the beam in place forever. An American flag and an evergreen tree is also placed on top of the structure as part of the tradition to ’’symbolize the hope that the building will be everlasting’.
Following the topping off ceremony, the SSL Team and owners provided a luncheon presentation at the Eden Resort. Ms Funk welcomed the attendees and presented a donation to the Penn Manor Education Foundation Executive Director, Ann Carol, to honor the heritage of Hambright Elementary from Signature. Mr. Vick’s presentation provided pictures of the new state of the art community and outlined the purpose and values of the Signature community in providing personal and memory care services to the senior population of Lancaster County.

Signature Senior Living Pennsylvania is proud to announce that Dr. Sandra Petersen, DNP, APRN, GNP-C is an integral part of our SSL team as our Geriatric Specialist over Quality and Clinical Services.
Dr. Petersen will provide the quality and clinical support to our communities, and continue to work to enhance our life enrichment and specialized Memory Care programming. We also provide our depositors for Memory Care private assessments and discussions with Dr. Petersen, prior to moving into our communities, to better serve their individual needs.
Dr. Petersen is the Program Track Administrator for the Masters in Nursing Leadership Program at University of Texas. She has a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas, a post-masters Geriatric Nurse Practitioner certificate from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, a post-master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from Northern Kentucky University and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rush University School of Nursing in Chicago, IL
Lancaster, PA. January 18, 2016. Crews search for a time capsule at former Hambright elementary school at the site of the new Signature Senior Living Lancaster Personal and Memory Care Community. A member of the sixth grade class of 1961 notified Signature Senior Living that they had buried a time capsule. Tracy Moorehead, SSL Regional Director, was on site when the RETTEW’s Subsurface Utility Engineering group searched for the time capsule utilizing geophysical methods including electromagnetic and ground penetrating radar (GPR) technologies. An object was located using their technology and the Wohlsen Construction team will start digging for the capsule. More to come…..

Tracy brings 30 years of experience in the personal care, assisted living and memory care industry. She has been an integral part of the operations, sales and licensing process in Pennsylvania through her years of operating multiple communities in the state as a regional director. Tracy has also worked with our Signature Senior Living team in the past, and promotes the philosophy of enhancing our residents' quality of life, independence and dignity in service delivery.
Dr. Sandra Petersen, DNP, APRN, Signature Senior Living’s Director of Quality and Clinical Services presents a seminar on Alzheimer’s care to local professional groups and caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Petersen provides our residents with added assessments to determine the best life enrichment and well-being programs. She guides the training for our employee partners in their care of our residents for the best possible living environment.

The Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization established and dedicated to honoring seniors and United States military veterans. The primary focus is on individuals living in long-term care communities. Our mission is to “Give Back To Those Who Have Given”. Through our donors, the Foundation provides Dream Flights in a Boeing Stearman biplane, the same aircraft used to train many military aviators in the 1940’s.
